Waterfall

I take my time on the journey to the Pokemon League. I run into lots of wild water pokemon and the occasional swimming trainer, but nothing noteworthy. After beating down enough Tentacools, Anubis evolves into Lucario, but other than that, the trip is basically uneventful. Well, uneventful up until the point where I encounter a massive wall of water blocking my path. Apparently this is the obstacle that requires the use of the "waterfall" move. So I fly back to Sunyshore City and grab Apsu. I then fly to Canalave City. The absent-minded man living there has the mystical power to make pokemon forget moves. I exploit his power so that I can replace Apsu's surf with waterfall. From there, it's a simple matter of fighting my way through some more wild pokemon to make it back to the obstacle.

Apsu uses Waterfall to scale, uh, the waterfall. I'm not really sure how that works, but it does. Once I'm at the top, I easily reach land. But the Pokemon League isn't within my reach just yet. Oh no, that would be too simple. Apparently I have to traverse another stupid cave thing, probably with some easy puzzles and lots of wild pokemon to attack me. Fortunately, there is a Poke Center at the top of the waterfall, so I can get some rest. The denizens of the Poke Center inform me that my next challenge is "Victory Road."
